Company is dedicated to promptly supply and deliver consumables constantly required by Petronas Carigali, Petronas Chemicals & Methanol Labuan, Sabah Shell Petroleum & Sarawak Shell Bhd, Petronas Chemical & Fertilizer in Sipitang, Sabah Oil & Gas Terminal, Kimanis [SOGT] and SEA Hibiscus Petroleum Sabah & Labuan. Arena Kinabalu was graciously granted the Petronas’ Vendor Supply License in June 2015, six months thereafter its incorporation, with the following business focuses in the supplies of :
- Oilfield Specialty Chemicals majorly in the uniquely blended Demulsifier with proprietary plant-based resources but strictly and completely free from traces of human health hazardous compounds of naphtha, naphthalene and 1, 2, 4 Trimethylbenzene.
- Other oilfield chemicals include Pour Point Depressant, Paraffin Wax Inhibitor, Tri-Ethylene Glycol, Biocides, Corrosion & Scale Inhibitors, Polyelectrolyte, Drilling Fluids, general purpose water based cleaners and degreasers for marine applications. The chemical portfolio is managed by a strong team of experienced professionals consisting of a Chemical Engineer and assisted by a chemist both of who had served in the offshore oilfields.
- Consumable materials abundantly required by Petronas’ onshore & offshore platforms industries such as SOGT, Kimanis and SAMUR Ammonia & Urea plants based in Sipitang including its PSCS such as Shell Sabah, SEA Hibiscus Petroleum, PCML Plant 1 & 2 Labuan, Petronas Carigali Sdn. Bhd., PTTEP, Petronas INSTEP, Kimanis.
- Provisions of Health, Safety and Environment System in aspects of the design, provision of equipment and services of H2S detectors system for offshore oilfield platform facilities in collaboration with engineers of accredited equipment manufacturers are managed by a team of experienced and trained professionals major in Electrical Engineering equipment with category B 4 and PW 4, Occupational Health and Safety Management and Instrumentation and Hazardous Area Ex Inspector to provide hook-up and after sale services, maintenance, troubleshooting and modification of gas, flame, heat and smoke detectors and related safety systems in electric motors, turbines and control modules.
Satisfactory financial credential, reputation, commercial and social connections have positively enabled continued tremendous extraordinary business results being successfully achieved before the end of 1st quarter 2023.
Petronas Carigali together with PFLNG Satu and PFLNG Dua have just awarded a 3-year contract valued at around RM1.0 million for the supply of PPE supplies of prescription spectacles for its operation in Sabah. Company is honored to be awarded for 3rd cycle as Petronas Carigali’s contract supplier for its onshore installation and offshore oil rigs and platforms presently operating in Sabah.

With the special legal purview and under the binoculars of SMJ Sdn Bhd’s constant guidance and supervision with special emphasis and focuses, Sabah Oil & Gas Vendors will undoubtedly stand to grow along with State’s Government direct participation of major upstream and downstream hydrocarbon and gas project activities.
